  • Deborah Crawford (Medicalising the ‘Troubles’: Revealing the GP perspective of the Northern Ireland conflict during 1990-1993; 2012; with distinction; Pybus Prize for Outstanding Performance in the History of Medicine Programme 2011-12). Deborah has now completed a law conversion programme at the College of Law in London.
  • Janelle Winters (Benedict Lust and Naturopathic Medicine during the American Spanish Influenza Epidemic of 1918-1919; 2012; with distinction; Pybus Prize for Outstanding Performance in the History of Medicine Programme 2011-12). After a year of working as an undergraduate public health and science writing teaching fellow at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh, she has decided to obtain a biology/history postgraduate teaching certificate from the University of Maryland.
  • Marion White (Medicine in the Diaries of Samuel Pepys; 2012; with distinction; Pybus Prize for Outstanding Performance in the History of Medicine Programme 2011-12)
  • Dr. Mauro Spicci (Fantastic Voyages into the Human Body: from Robert Underwood to Isaac Asimov, 2012; with distinction). Mauro returned to the University of Milan as a teaching fellow. 
  • Alexandra Donnison (Giovanni Donati’s commentary on Hippocrates’ De Morbis Virginum; 2012)
  • Maria Liwerski (The Debate on the Origin of Syphilis Between 1901 and 1934; 2012)
  • Tiago Gameiro Inacio (The Experience of Healthcare Professionals in the Portuguese Colonial War 1961-74; 2011). Tiago subsequently completed his medical training.
  • Benjamin Lee (For What Reasons Were the Nazi Human Experiments Into the Efficacy of Sulphonamides Undertaken and Did Any Rationale Alleviate the Means? 2011; with distinction). Benjamin subsequently completed his medical training.
  • Elizabeth Clayton (The Politicisation of Medicine in the Third Reich. Illustrated by the Biography of Franz Gerl, 2010). Elizabeth subsequently completed her medical training.
  • Ami Watanabe (Viriditas of Hildegard of Bingen: Its Scientific Roots and Religious Implications, 2009).
  • Heather Traynor (The Use of Mistletoe in the Treatment of Cancer: a Legacy of Rudolf Steiner?, 2008). Heather subsequently completed her medical training.
  • Natalie Hawkes (The dismissal of Antoine Daquin from his post as premier médecin to Louis XIV in 1693, 2008; with distinction; Pybus Prize for Outstanding Performance in the History of Medicine Programme 2007-08). See also Natalie's membership profile.
  • Estelle Clement (Characteristics of Medicine in a Shame Culture as Exemplified by the Ancient Greeks, 2007). Estelle subsequently went to the University of Liverpool to start a PhD.

  • Frances Warnell (2006; with distinction). Frances works as a Research Associate at the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University.
